About

Software project management at the moment a growing share of code is written by AI coding agents. Starting from Brooks and the Agile Manifesto, the book reexamines Scrum, Kanban, and XP, then follows the shift from vibe coding to agentic engineering: executable specifications and context engineering, industrialized verification and the security of generated code, the micro-team of one or two experts working with agents, estimation when code becomes cheap, and delivery under the AI Act, the Cyber Resilience Act, and NIS2.

Every chapter opens with a real case, argues from data rather than ritual, and ends with self-assessment questions and essay topics.

Reviews

translated from Romanian; the original follows each quote

“Managementul proiectelor software is an original work with a clear thesis, argued from data and honest about the limits of its own evidence. It covers a subject for which Romanian-language teaching literature is only now taking shape, and it prepares students for the way software projects are run today.”

Lecturer Teodor PetrițaPolitehnica University of Timișoara

“A particular merit of the work is the balanced way it handles the contradiction between the rigorous 2025 studies, which measure modest gains or even slowdowns, and the order-of-magnitude gains observed in practice. The author does not pick a side but proposes a reasoned explanation.”
