Valer Bocan PhD, CSSLP
I work on making systems hold up under attack. My early research established adaptive threshold puzzles and DoS-resistant single sign-on; the GSM denial-of-service work from that period is still my most cited. More recently I directed a national-security programme that delivered covert audio-video capture systems at TRL8, and I currently work on covert egress channels and on IPFLang, a domain-specific language whose currency-aware type system catches regulatory fee errors at compile time.
